If you only need to make a straight cut off the edge of your metal, choose the yellow (Please see the individual product descriptions to learn more about each pair of snips). For wire entanglement cutting up to 1.2mm, bough spring spray cutting up to 8mm, metal sheet and roofing board cutting up to 1.2mm, or round cutting purposes…they’re all ready to live on the edge, and take you in the right direction. These three peas in a pod, with all steel construction, have safety latches to keep the blades closed while not in use, and comfortable, soft, rubber hand grips for when they are.

TIP: Although tin snips are not meant to cut through the center of a sizable sheet of metal (Tinners are best for that), it isn’t nigh impossible to accomplish such a feat. After dressing up in your sporty safety goggles and gloves, take your right and left cutting snips (red and green) – one in each hand – and let them alternate taking parallel bites through the center of your material. The waste strip will curl up between the red and green.
